Write what happened, then add what supports it. Each entry keeps the time it was written, where you were, and whether it has been changed since.

Two kinds of entry

Private for you, evidential when it matters

Not everything you write is for anyone else. You choose which of two lanes each entry goes in. Both are kept to the same standard: the time it was written never changes, and if you edit an entry later, the original words are kept.

Private

Thoughts, feelings and the ordinary days, written for yourself. Private entries are never shared with anyone in your Trusted Circle.

Evidential

Incidents and the record you may need to rely on. Evidential entries are the ones you can share with a solicitor, an IDVA or another trusted contact, if you give them access to your journal.

When you can’t stop to write, Sivolo makes the evidential entry for you.

Between analyses

Bring your record into your next analysis

When you analyse a conversation, you can choose journal entries to include as background. The analysis then reads your messages in the light of what you recorded, and nothing you didn’t choose is sent.
